イスラエルによる非人道的な襲撃事件への非難
イスラミックセンター・ジャパンは、真に人道的な仕事に従事していた平和のための活動に対する悲惨で残酷なイスラエルによる攻撃を強く非難する。
襲撃は公海上をガザへ向かっていた支援船団に対して行われ、16名以上の死者と多数の負傷者を出した。
米国のバラク・オバマ大統領は、電話でトルコのラジャブ・タイベ・エルドアン首相と会談し、封鎖されているガザへ救援物資を運んでいた船に対するイスラエルの攻撃によって死者が出たことに、深い哀悼の意を表した。同時に惨劇にまつわる事実の信頼できる調査を求めた。
英国のデビッド・キャメロン首相は、イスラエルの襲撃は絶対に受け入れることができないと述べ、事件の全容解明を促した。そしてお悔やみの言葉を述べ、この種の事件を二度と繰り返してはならないと述べた。
国連安全保障理事会は、イスラエルによる今回の事件の公正で信頼できる調査を呼びかけ、緊急理事会は、トルコ船籍のマビ・マルマラ号そしてヨーロッパの支援船、スペンドーニ号に死傷者が出た事態に対し、文書にて非難し、閉会した。
パレスティナ人たちは、この60年間にもわたり故国を追れ、過酷な占領下で、死の恐怖にさらされていることを指摘しておきたい。
イスラミックセンター・ジャパンは、平和を愛する日本の方々に、パレスティナの人々への支援を要請し、イスラエルを単に非難するだけではなく、その非道な行いに対し強く抗議する。

Condemnation of Tragic aggression of Israel
Islamic Center-Japan strongly condemns the tragic and barbaric aggression of Israel against the peaceful campaigners who were engaged in purely humanitarian work. The raid in international waters, on the aid convoy headed to Gaza left at least 16 civilians dead and scores injured.
President Barack Obama spoke by phone with Turkish Prime Minister and expressed condolences for the deaths from Israeli raid on a Turkish ship that was part of a flotilla hauling relief supplies to blockaded Gaza. He supported a credible investigation of the facts surrounding the tragedy.
The British Prime Minister David Cameroon has said that the Israeli aggression is unacceptable and urged for a full scale enquiry. He termed it as regrettable and should not be repeated.
The UN Security Council called for impartial, credible Investigation of Israeli boat raid. After an emergency session wrapped up, the council agreed to language condemning the acts that resulted in the deaths and injuries aboard the Turkish vessel Mavi Marmara and the European Campaign’s vessel Spendoni.
It is pointed out here that Palestinians have suffered 60 years of dispossession, brutal occupation and target killings. ICJ urges the peace loving Japanese people to support the cause of Palestinian. ICJ urges the world community to not only condemn Israel but also take severe action against it.
