It was the late summer of 1999 when
I had been so happy to meet Mr.Makoto Murayama's music works
in the search of Internet. With the greatest joy and surprise,
I had found the new classic music which I myself had wanted to
make an image in my student age of 1960's. The most sophisticated
sounds of Mr.M.Murayama's works made me immediately to bring
back to the student age more than 35 years ago. I had shouted
loudly in my mind "Bravo! This is the new classic music
of the 21st century!" And I deeply thank God for me to meet
a genius composer while composer and listener are both been in
the contemporary era. This occasion might be given by Goddes will because I had abandoned to search such a genius composer in Japan during my life time. His music is basically composed in the orthdox style of classic tradition like as ABA formation with very short introduction and coda. Originating from the music of J.S.Bach, it is concise and strong in fast tempo and sometimes so passionate or very calm with lovely melodies to lead audience into a cosmos of Muse. It is also my great happiness to intoduce Mr.M.Murayama's works to any friends who love music incruding classic or modern. And I believe that his works are sure to be a new classic music being in time of 100 years later! Let me shout again in mind, "I bless God! Japan has borne a genius composer just before the 21st century!" I should apologize for that I had made a medley of his works because I could not have downloaded all of his works listed in his homepage by my technical failures now being under investigation. |
